Overview

Design Technology is used to develop a vast range of designing skills and technology skills of a person. It plays a significant role in the modern society more than ever.  This course provides an exciting opportunity for students to explore their interest, and exercise the importance, of design technology within the modern and future world.

 

This course provides a wide-ranging understand on the key concepts such as materials, model making, processes, prototype developments and evaluation. Also, it provides a solid foundation in design theories and practices to develop an own product at the end of the course.

Individual/ Group Project

Entry Requirements

–  Obtain a minimum of 6 passes in the GCE Ordinary Level (Local Syllabus) with Credit passes in Mathematics and English

–  Passed/ Sat GCE Advanced Level (Local Syllabus) in any Stream (Technology stream or Mathematics Stream are most preferred)

–  Cambridge or Edexcel 5 Passes including Mathematics and English
